Earrings are the piece most people buy first and wear most often. Our catalogue groups them into four types, each available across styles such as American Diamond, Kundan, Meenakari, oxidised, pearl and gold-plated.
Artificial jewellery: the descriptions on this page are about look and finish. They do not mean precious metal, natural gemstones or real diamonds. Ask for the materials and dimensions of the exact design you choose.
The four earring types
Stud
Sits on the earlobe. The easiest daily wear, and the safest choice for long days, travel and office.
Hoop
A circle or partial circle. Small hoops are everyday; larger hoops make a casual statement.
Drops
Hang a short way below the lobe. A good balance between daily wear and an occasion look.
Chandelier
Longer, layered designs that frame the face. Best for weddings, receptions and festive outfits.
How to choose
- Weight: heavier chandelier and jhumka-style earrings are comfortable for a few hours; ask for the approximate weight before you choose for an all-day event.
- Closure: push-back, screw-back and hook closures behave differently. Push-back studs are quick; hooks suit drops; heavy pieces need a firm back.
- Support: for heavy earrings, an ear chain (sahara) that clips into the hair takes weight off the lobe.
- Balance with the necklace: with a heavy necklace, choose smaller earrings; with no necklace, chandeliers can carry the look.
- Face and hairstyle: long earrings show best with hair tied up or tucked back.
Sensitive ears
Some people react to certain metals in artificial jewellery. If your ears are sensitive, wear earrings for shorter periods, keep them clean and dry, and tell us when you enquire so we can share material details of the design.

Questions
Which earrings are best for daily wear?
Studs and small hoops are the most comfortable for long days. Light drops also work for office and casual wear.
Do heavy earrings hurt?
They can after a few hours. Ask for the weight, choose a secure back, and use an ear chain for support with heavy chandelier or jhumka-style earrings.
